About

IMG_5222.2Welcome to my blog. As I went through this disease, with my normal activity limited, I began writing in order to help digest the load of information mentally and have a kind of purpose or task to complete aside from hospital appointments. I decided to give an honest and more scientific report of the cancer and share aspects that stood out to me such as cravings and how I came to a decision about volunteering for a clinical trial. Whether you are on the same page or have someone going through the same situation, my aim was to get this off my chest – written therapy as such. So here goes…

I was diagnosed on April Fools day, 2015 – a little repugnant cruelty. I am a 31 year old female from Northern Ireland and a picture of health, I thought – a body fat percentage of 18, I generally eat clean but do love chocolate. I try to workout every day using the heaviest weights I can find and follow Jamie Eason from Bodybuilding.com. I have completed P90X, Insanity and T25. My blood and cells and organs should have been all up to speed!

I have travelled the world for the past four years on cruise ships and independently, all with my partner from New Orleans. I have a healthy amount of craft beer photographs to remind me so on my beer blog, @Beertiful. I also recently got engaged whilst in New Zealand.

P.S. This blog catalogues from bottom to top so you can scroll all the way down in order to begin my CC account in chronological order.
